Default Recommendations?

I am still about two months away from purchasing a set of wheels for a Z. I will be picking up a car around Christmas and almost immediately changing the wheels if I have money left over. I am not looking to have wheels that are ridiculously expensive. I cannot justify spending $2000+ for wheels on a vehicle that I will drive daily and I know will receive a few scratches here and there on the wheels.

Now with that said, please do not flame me for my selection of wheels. I like the style of the BBS CH, but I am not going to pay that much for them. I have found a few alternatives that I like:

TSW Nurburgring

XXR 530

Are there any other wheels of this style (Under $1000 total) that I should consider?

Next, I am not looking for an aggressive stance or anything like that. I am pretty set on 18" wheels. The widths I was thinking were:
TSW Nurburgring (8.5 front, 9.5 rear)
XXR 530 (8.75 front, 9.75 rear)

Any suggestions on changing widths? Also, tire recommendations would be appreciated. I plan on lowering the car on Tein S Tech Springs as well so it will sit better, but still be an easy daily driver.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I purchased a used set of BBS Rg-Rs almost a decade ago. It was one of the best purchases I ever made. If you can't find some used ones, try looking at the Enkei Raijin 18" wheels as an option. They use the same widths as the TSWs.

Definitely don't have the money for the BBS, plus I'd be so scared of a rock ever hitting them. And I have seen the Raijins before and they are nice, just a little more expensive, but much better quality. So for the widths I specified, what tires would you suggest? Not looking for a stretch or anything. By the way, all of the offsets are +20.

Thank you for your response by the way!

My budget is 1000 for rims, if something happens to one, I want to be able to replace it without selling my left arm. I understand I won't get the best or most popular wheel, but that is fine with me. That's why I am slightly including TSW Nurburgrings(~1050) and Enkei Raijins(~1100).

I'm more interested in tire size recommendations as of now, but still open to more wheel ideas.

I heard 245, 275 was popular for those widths. Would that be alright?

Did some quick searches and saw these offsets:
8.5: 35 was the lowest
9.5: 15 was the lowest and 35 was next

Those all good? I know I'm not running anything aggressive so I assume I will be fine.

Also, I saw that the TSWs were actually lighter than the Enkeis, but I've heard that Enkei is more reliable and stronger. Is this correct?

Both good wheels, run 9.5 +15 front and rear, 255/40 front and 275/40 rear.

Thanks for your input! Also, another noob question here, how do I go about getting a wheel with an offset that is not listed online? (The lowest offset I am seeing is +20 and obviously people have lower than that haha)

Sorry for all the questions. I just like having all my ducks in a row before I make an investment. Thanks for putting up with me!

I'd suggest 245-40-18 F and 275-40-18 R. The slightly taller aspect ratio will fill out the fenderwells and allow for a smoother ride. It's what I have mounted on my RG-Rs! The slightly taller sidewall will also help protect your wheels from damage if you hit a pothole or bump.

Thank you and since I will be getting 18" I won't have any issues with rubbing obviously. If I would do 19" for some reason, switching to a 35 aspect ratio would be better for me. Thank you everyone again

9.5 +20 front and rear would also work fine. Different wheels front different brands come in different offset. It's a 5mm difference, not a big deal.

19 in the same width and offsets with the same width tires but a 35 series aspect ratio is also just fine. The tires will have the same outside diameter as the listed 18's or stock tires. You will not have a problem with rubbing.

Look like real Volk TE37's(LE37's?) or could be one of the many replicas like varrstoen 2.2.2, miro 398 or rota grid

Didn't want to start another thread.

More than likely going with Enkei Raijin 18 x 9.5 +15 all around. Does anyone know if Raijins of these specs clear Track model Brembos? I'm not planning on upgrading brakes, so Track Brembos would be the largest I would have to worry about. I've done research and can't come to a definitive conclusion.
