Default 17" wheel with Brembos pic thread

Yes it fits.

I wanted to start a picture thread of 350z with factory Brembos and 17" rims. Unfortunately I don't have much to contribute except proof pictures I found on the website. I can't be the only one interested in this! 17x9 RPF1s weigh 15 lbs and tires are much much cheaper.

17" rims are great for track enthusiast. I was hoping some members had some nice 17" set-ups I could use as reference.

Post 'em up!

Hell if you have a 16" rim over Brembos you can post that too! haha

[Edit: I know it fits, I know I posted the proof pictures, I know how to use a search engine on a forum website in 2014. There is however NO 17" wheel thread discussion like there is for 18/19/20. THATS WHAT I WANTED THIS TO BE]

Can you not flame my thread? It's not pointless just because you are not interested in it.

I'm not interested in 19" knock off rims on non Brembo 350zs and if I was I'd ask for your input.

i am far from flaming, just stating my opinion.

btw they are 18s and i chose to spend my money on performance parts rather than wheels

In an attempt to keep my thread on original topic and not travlee's financial decisions here's another example.

LMGT4s w/Advan A048 tires
Front: 17x9.5 (unknown offset, guessing +12) 255/40R17
Rear: 18x10.5 (unknown offset, guessing +15) 265/35R18

Literally sex perfect

A dedicated picture thread isn't a bad idea. I was just talking about this subject with a friend today. Just like you and travlee said it has been covered on the forum before, but clearly no "17s with OEM Brembo" thread. I don't know if there's enough interest to keep it going, but it definitely is a MUCH cheaper setup for track/autocross junkies.

it is cheaper, i never disputed that. most people do 18 or 19 because of the appearance factor, 18s are the best of both worlds in my mind

Thanks hndu. Is there alot of clearance with that wheel or is it cutting it pretty close?

Yeah I remember him doing that. The rear shouldn't be an issue at all, but the fronts are with alot of 17s.

i think that the oem brems are the only "bbk" that you can fit 17s over all around

There are a few of us who ran 14 inch aftermarket BBK's with 17's. Mine is a 6 piston Wilwood kit and I ran 17's on the track for a while
