Default Help with wheel/tire size choice

Hey All,

I have been sifting through the forum and was hoping someone could help me with some recommendations on wheel/tire size. While there was a bunch of info already listed, it seems most of the time it was best to show the actual wheel I was interested in and then someone much better than me with wheels could give me a good idea on what to look at. I am running a 2003 Track Edition 350z with stock suspension. I was looking to get something with a decent lip on it and found a set of Enkei's I like. They are the PF01 Evos found here http://www.enkei.com/pf01evo.shtml#.

I don't know what sizes to go with to get a bigger tire on the rear and get a little more of that deep dish look all around without creating any fitment, ride, performance issues. If anyone could give me some recommendations, it would be much appreciated.

Available size options are here http://www.enkei.com/pf01evo.pdf

Thanks

If you want wider tires with no fitment issues on stock suspension I would look into:

18x9.5+22
18x10.5+22

Nice wheel choice, I would go with what Eddie gave you above and run a 255-40-18 and 285-40-18 tire setup

Now, what happens if you get coilovers? Can you widen the tire/offset to the inside more?

Of course, rear fenders will need to be rolled and it is advisable to run a rear camber kit to adjust your alignment accordingly

Thank you for the response guys. I really appreciate the help. Now just need to find someone who isn't going to rake me over the coals on pricing.

You could easily just not lower it and with the right wheel and tire sizing it will still look good.

The setup that we suggested in this thread for intance would look good even without a drop
