yes, but the offset is horrendous. the 17x8 weapons (which i have on the front of my Z) are i think 28 offset...check discounttiredirect.com to be sure. i have the 17x9 on the rear which are 17 offset.
if you get the 42 offset wheels they will sink further into the wheel well, and it will look like crap unless you have 30mm + spacers. i have 20mm for mine, but they arent on right now. still looks nice without them (plus the rears would rub...still have to roll my fenders).
and FYI, stock 17s are 30 offset in front, 7.5 inches wide. rears are 33 offset, 8 inches wide. if you want a square setup i recommend going 17x9 front and rear. on stock tire sizes they will be slightly stretched. go to 245/45/17 front tires and 255/45/17 rear, or 275/40 front and rear for wide meats. look around, search, do your homework.

i have a pair of these exact same wheels sitting in my garage collecting dust.... 17x9 +27, i initially bought them for track wheels and then decided against tracking car. too bad your aren't closer

Just get these http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-New-17X9-17-Offset-5x114-3-MB-Motoring-Weapon-Gun-Metal-Wheels-Rims-/310901764516?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item48633071a4&vxp=mtr then you don't need to run spacers and you get wider tires at the same time. win win if you ask me. But if you want to run 17x8 to keep your tires you have on now then I don't know, I think it's a waste to buy new wheels and keep those tiny tires on. If your on stock suspension you probably can get away without a fender roll, but if you lowered your more than likely going to need one.
You are selling yourself short by sticking with the skinny stock tires if you're even going to both upgrading to aftermarket wheels
I would suggest you get at least 18" wheels and tires suggested in this post in the Top 100 FAQ

I have a feeling you will regret your purchase once you become more informed
and i have 20mm spacers for my wheels, but dont have them installed because the rear fenders need to be rolled or ill rub, and i took the fronts off because i did the brakes recently and didnt have an assistant to hold the brakes so i could torque the nuts down. still looks fine, but once i get my fenders rolled ill put them back on.
as for if youll be unhappy with the wheels (size wise), im perfectly content with my wheels. 18s may look slightly nicer, but once i get tires more suited for the width of my wheels it will look better. i like the fatter tire look anyway, but i can appreciate all options.
take your time and do some research...learn about offsets and what wheel sizes look like on your car, as well as tire sizes and widths. go to http://www.willtheyfit.com and play around with the calculator there to see how things work a little better.
