Default Wheel Setup Questions

im about to buy some 17x8.25 rims for my z and it says the backspacing is 5.61 Is this the correct fitment for me? thanks in advanced guys

just say no on 17's.... they look small on the car. 18s at least, and look at 9.5 width with a +15 (ish) offset

thanks guys. i only have a $1000 budget. Any suggestions on rims? Gram light titanium finish are on my wishlist but unfortunetly i dont have that kinda cash

thousand bucks will get you some decent xxr's or mb's.....

i have the mb battles and they look decent, and will be just over 900

do 18x9.5 on all corners... OR 18x9 front and 18x10 rear

no, you could do an 18x9.5 +23 in rear and not rub, i even added a 5mm spacer (essentially a +18) and didn't rub, but when i went to a +15 i rubbed (with a 275/40 tire)

can someone help me out on these specs? Will they fit properly. I have tried searching for fitment guides but no luck

i did but they only come in these odd sizes. i just ordered the 18x9.75 20mm offset... now for tires

you will be okay with those... to keep traction control liking you, try 255/40 front and 275/40 rears

first thing i do when i start my car is turn tc off. is that bad? ive always heard better mpg when is off

just fyi, on my car with a 9.5 +23 up front with a 255/40 tire, and almost zeroed out on camber, i was rubbing on the screw that holds the fender liner in.... you might want to go 245/40 up front, this will roll the shoulder of the tire in some giving you more clearance
