I need a new spare tire for my 2003 track edition 350Z. After doing some searching, I keep hearing that most of the spares won't fit over the Brembo brakes. Can anyone confirm/deny this? I'm currently running around with a full size wheel and tire that takes up too much space in the back.

Nissan made a spare that fits over OEM brembo. I have one if you're interested. Just pay for shipping and its yours.

I'm also now seeing that the G37 spare tire might fit over OEM Brembos? And possibly the one designed for the 370Z?

 

You can check out one of the specialty "recycling yards" up in Rancho Cordova, CA. They ship all over.

i think i read some where that if you have spacers , the spare will fit over the brembos

 

If the Z/G came with brembos, the spare for them fits. I've got a spare sitting in my trunk. I know it works cuz I caught a flat this one time at band camp. It didn't do me any good because my car was LITERALLY on the ground with a 17inch spare, but it fit and I could roll it.

Get the spare tire from any 370z or g37 that came with the akebonos. I got mine from eBay. They show up every now and then
