Default is march too soon to put back summer tires?

I wanna put back summer tires on my Z because my winter tires are so high profile and ugly on my Z I cannot stand it. is mid march too soon for summer tires. it will be around 3 degrees to -5 degree and will keep going up from there I assume.

I live in Ontario Toronto.

What summer tyres do you use - and find out what temp they recommend...seems pretty simple.
Over here it wasn't that cold, maybe -1 a couple of times but just kept the supersports on.

Hold off a little longer. You might get hit by snow again and you wouldn't be able to drive your car. Summer tires don't work well when temperatures are near or below freezing.

keep the winters on, deal wit the shitty look and keep the z in one piece till the snow goes. or buy a winter beater and park the z with the nice wheels. that way u can always look at it

I'd wait until at least April.

March is too soon. There's usually still snow on the ground. Mid-April is a better starting point imo.

Agreed- the other critical factor is the rubber compound in your winter tires will function in the temp range you mention. Summer tires work best when the temps rise to 50 degrees F or more...

We're about an hour from Ontario. You won't see 1 single solitary summer tire on any car until mid to late April round'chere. But, you Canadians do what you want.

But most of us have winter cars.

For most the country, average time for summer tires is April - Oct or when temps start staying above 40 deg on a regular basis.
