New owner looking for a wider tire setup...
So I just bought a new 07 Touring Roadster. Looking to replace the wheels and tires...It has 18s all around right now...245/40/18 tires...
My question is what is a good setup (wheel size + tire size) that will give me a wider look...closer to flush with the outside of the fender...I don't want to add spacers or any other modification...
Not opposed to 19" wheels either if that helps...
Hopefully, I'm making sense...Basically I'd like a wider stance with just the wheels and tires being altered...Thanks in advance...Oh, and I did a search but couldn't find an answer to this specifically...

I'm surprised that your search wasn't successful since there is so much information here related to your question.
The best place to start is the Enkei thread in this subforum. There are many pictures on this thread showing various configurations.

19X9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +22 with 5mm spacers all around. Tires are 255/35 and 285/35. The 255s in front look a bit stretched, so I suggest getting a 265 instead. The 285s in the rear are perfect. I had 10mm spacers all around, which looked better, but the rears rubbed slightly whenever I had a passenger. I didn't want to get more negative camber so I switched to 5mm spacers. Hope this helps.

I could have phrased it that way, but I wanted to spell it out to the OP in case he wasn't too versed in offsets and spacers. What if he started looking for TEs with a +17 offset?

But on the same topic and concurring what was said about spacers, it would have made no sense to mention "effective offset" to the OP since he never even asked for offsets....
The search function on this site isn't great but that topic is probably the most prolific of any topic here....

It really depends on what you're looking for, but this thread had some useful information when I was looking for wheels. 19s FTW!! lol
Welcome and good luck OP!!

Yesssssss!!!! 9.5 and 10.5 won't get you flush unless you have REALLY low offsets fyi.
That said, There are a multitude of different scenarios that will fit what you're trying to accomplish. It just depends on where YOU want to be. Also keep in mind, the closer to the fender, the more likely you'll have to roll it.
