Default Wheel/Tire Question on '03 350z

Newbie here. My son has a 2003 350Z that we installed coils several months ago and dropped down, camber arms on the rear, not front. Car isn't slammed but definitely lowered.

He is looking to purchase used wheel set with tires. The specs I know are - brand Aodham ds02 Front 9.5x18 and Rears 10.5x18 with lug 5x114.3 with +22 offset. The tires are 225/40r18.

Will this work on his car? Any help/advice appreciated. If it works and we need to roll fenders we have a friend that would help with that who has the roller and heat gun.

Any input greatly appreciated!

Wheels "should" clear with those SMALL tires. If they're truly 225s, they are way stretched. Not good IMO. Proper sizing on those wheels would be 245/40 or 255/40 F and 275/40 or 285/40 R. "Might" need to roll the fenders with the 285s but the 275s should fit fine. All cars are different in how they react. You just need to put the tires/wheels on and drive a bit with these.

The fronts are 225s, not sure about the backs...

So the tires for this wheel set are 225/40 on fronts and 225/45 rears. Called a seller of the wheel set and they said they would be stretched but shouldn't be an issue and was probably done for clearance purposes but shouldn't need to roll fenders on the Z but would have to put them on to be sure. Sound right?

Yes, that setup will "fit" however I would walk away. The tires sizes are a complete mismatch for the wheel widths. I have literally seen a stretched tire dismount from the wheel and wrap around the axle on a guy running a slalom course at 40mph.
If it were my son, I'd help him get a safer setup.

way too narrow for those wheels, you will be stretching the tire just shy of 2 inches if my maths are correct.

here is a 235 on a 9 inch wheel for perspective (but if the specs are correct in the pic corner, it will be almost identical)

Entirely too much stretch. It probably looks retarded on the car it came off of and will look retarded on the Z until proper sized tires are put on. I mean seriously, a 225 on a 10.5 inch wheel? I have 265s on 10 inch wheels and I think that looks too stretched, but at least the tire size is in the proper range. Rolling won't be necessary because there's no tire in there. Unless by rolling you mean he'll be rolling on the sidewalls of those.

I hate this damn stretched tires/retarded camber fad. It needs to die.

Ended up going new with these ESR SR08 18x9.5 fronts and 18x10.5 rears with no fender rolling needed. Paid more but got it done quick and easy. Think it looks pretty sweet!
