Default Front asymmetrical tires reversed?

I recently got a new Z. Today I noticed the front tires were mounted reversed (inside on the outside).
It seems like it was deliberate since both fronts were like this and the backs were normal. Is there a reason for this?

thanks

Depends on what you mean. Side to side on the car won’t work. That’ll just reverse the direction of rotation. Inside is still outside. Bzzzt.

Only real solution is flipping the tires back to outside-outside on the wheels (if that’s what you meant).

I’m betting someone flipped the tires to get a few more miles out of them with the insides wearing due to typical camber issues. Obviously didn’t care about handling and feel.

That seems like it could be what happened (I found a missing lugnut when I went to torque the wheels), though it seems like there are much more treads on the front then back. Its not a big deal since I need to get new wheels and tires anywways,

Biggest factor, wet weather performance. Dry conditions will hardly be effected
