Anyone put thicker tires on your stocks?
I am planning on replacing my rear tires. Will 245/50 or 245/45 fit in the OEM 17" wheel? Has anyone done this? If you have, do you have a picture of what the sidewall looks like? I don't want the tire to look TOO chubby.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Yes but you will have to pm you email do to not be computer savy. But I can e mail a pic of my car with 245/45r17 on factory wheels. The fronts are a little puckered but not bad.

well, the reason i thought it would be better to put 245/45 was because stock size in the rear is 235/50, so if i'm getting a wider tire, then i would go down in step in profile. I did this when i had my civic, i had 195/55 (stock 15") and got some 205/50's, so going by the same logic....
