Default spacers *pics*

had some old spacers lieing around...so i decided to see if they fit. Well they did and i took some pics. i tried to take the pictures at good angles so you can see the differences. hope you can tell. They are 1/4 inch spacers and i had no problems with stock studs and lugs, i got a good couple turns out of the lug wrench and they tightened nicely. took it for a test drive to only about 65 mph and i had no vibrations. any questions just ask.

pic 1- has no spacer
pic 2- has a spacer
pic 3- you can see the spacer
pic 4 + 5- is the spacer itself
pic 6- spacer on left wheel,no spacer on right wheel

i havent took it on tight turns or anything yet and it doesnt look like i will till sunday, its supposed to rain everyday till then, so the Z stays in the garage.

but i couldnt imagine that 1/4 inch spacers would make a big enough difference,i could be wrong.

These spacers lessen the amount of contact that the bolt has with the nut... Couldnt this possibly weaken the bolt and cause a wheel to fly off or something?

nope, like i mentioned before, i got a good amount of turns on the lug wrench that i definetly knew it was on and then i got it nice and tight. when it gets ncie out again im gonna drive aroudn and then go around with the wrench and see if any loosened. Thats a good question tho cause i was wondering that myself before i put them on.

non hub centric spacers.... booooooo.

When you pick up a nasty vibration above 40mph you'll know what its from.

How many turns did you have? I think 8 turns is recommended!
