Fikse or Kinesis ... your thoughts ?
Yep, you're right. A set of Profi 10s in 18x9 and 18x10 are on my wish list... What I love about Fikse is that it's a genuine family owned company that produces only a few sets of wheels a day...
If your getting 19's make sure they are "real" 19's. What some companies do is fit the center from an 18" wheel into a 19" shell. This is why come wheels, even though they are 19's look like 18's. If there is a step in the lip, this will usually be an indicator of this. From the pictures of the Kenisis, it looks like they do this.

kinesis and fikse both are stepped lips. kinesis is about to start making the reverse drop 19" K59 which means it will have a true 19" center.
As for the Aeros, they will probably go for between 2250-2500

K 29 wheels are some of my favorites. If I had 1200 per wheel to spend I would have. Kinesis is in SD next to me. Maybe I can get sponsored
I prefer the drop center face. you gotta love that flat finish dark silver center. very aggresive looking!

They are all strong wheels, but keep in mind that a forged wheel is stronger than a forged billet wheel. A billet wheel starts life as a huge lump of forged metal and then it is cut into shape. A forged wheel is forged right into its final shape and then machined slightly to make it pretty. When you forge something into its final shape, the grain flow of the metal follows the shape of the design. In a billet the grain flow does not.
This is why you will never see a billet piston, only forged pistons.

There has to be a reason I like this wheel more than anyone else.
I figure its because some people see ys and others see ovals. I see ovals therefore it looks good to me , but others see ys, and that doesnt look good.
Hmmm. time for a poll!

So that makes :
Kinesis - 6
Fikse - 5
So looks like I may be waiting until Kinesis makes the wheels ....
unless anyone else jumps on. I am REALLY torn between them and am leaving this decision up to the group ...
