Back tires on my Track on done. Looking for replacements but damn there are so many to choose from. I've been considering:
Toyo Proxies T1
Eagle F1 GS-D3
Michellin Pilot Sports
Nitto 555 Extreme Performance
Bridgestone S-03's
I need some feedback to help with my decision. I'm thinking of going to a 275 series tire as well. Could this cause problems??

I have SO3's now and love 'em. I bought a set of new wheels and need to get new tires.... I think I'll go with Toyo T1s this time b/c it looks like I can get a good deal on them.
BTW, here is the thread which I posted to get the members feedback. https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=72265

I like Dunlop SP9000s. I think they are the best price/performance tire out there. Yes, 275/40s are too wide for your 8.5" wheel. Tire Manufacturers recommend a rim range of from 9-11", with 9.5" being optimum. 8.5" is close, but slightly out of the recommended range. Might work, however. For the fronts use 245/40/18. Don't keep the stock 225/45/18s with a wider rear tire, you'll only increase the understeer.

I might be able to help you out...
I have a pair of 245/40-18 TOYO T1-S, used on the front of my Track model approx 3000 miles and one track event, very good condition, still have the little tiddies on the sidewalls...
Yours for $150 plus shipping. All you need now are two 255/40 or 255/45-18s for the rear and you are all set....
Let me know if you are intersted. PM me or email at ph168@peterhaas.net

The only reason I considered 275 series tires is because Discount Tire www.tires.com is advertising the following plus sizes available for the 18" wheel based on the stock rim size.
PLUS ZERO
245/40-18
275/40-18
PLUS ZERO
245/40-18
275/40-18
