Default wheel studs.....some long ..some short

I was taking off my spacers and wheel studs...to go back to stock studs today . [new wheels that fit right ] And I noticed that stock stud are different lengths . Some 1/4 inch or more smaller than than the longest . Thats just not right.....but what do I know...you think they would make sure that the supplier had better quallity control

the longer ones go in the rear, the shorter in the front...

or is it the other way around...

here is a pic of a front hub bolt...

here is a pic of a rear hub bolt..

YOu really shouldnt re-press them in... they wont grab as hard to the hub...

Do you have spacers on your rear wheels?

What was the reason for the longer studs on the rear?

You can always go longer... best not to go shorter though!
