I bought my 03 Z in Nov. of 03. It has a little over 12,000 miles and Nissan has finally replaced the front tires due to wear pattern noise. Boy, I didn't realize how loud the roar was until I got the new tires and it wasn't there anymore.

My question is will the sound come back? The front end was realigned according to Nissan tech bulletin.

 

It will probably come back. I had mine rotated from side to side per the tsb at 12K and then it came back at 18k and they gave me new ones. I am lowering my car so i will just get an alignment kit for it.

 

It is obvious that if the front end is out of alignment and the tires are switched that it is just a temperary fix at the best. I know that it will not fix tires which have already developed a wear pattern. My question is with the front end aligned according to Nissan's TSB and the old tires replaced with new ones, will the new tires wear unevenly and the noise return? Simply put, does the correct alignment fix the problem?
