Default my new rims and wheels

hey guys and gals,
i bugged everyone enough when i was debating what to get and have gotten some very good advice. this forum is definately one of the best things that i ever did with owning my Z. Thought i would offer up some pics of how the car turned out. I am very happy. the rims are a little heavy but i only wanted visual, really never race the car or anything. They are 19's, Falken 451. Helluva deal from discount tire here in Dayton.

Tried to directly load the pics but they are too huge, some like 1.5 meg. i have a pretty nice digital camera, but i am computer dumb and cant figure how to downsize the pics so i just created a group in msn. here is the link:

thelink

just incase that didnt work just type in:

http://www.msnusers.com/my350zredline

go to the pictures area. (obviously)

for the buck, those rims are hot. I'm actually liking those more and more. Offset seems good too.

Great choice.

Looks great.

Now slam that sucker.

yeah if you can believe it or not i went from the 17's to the 19's for less than 1800 bucks, rubber and rims all included. had some minor difficulty with the offset but an 8mm spacer in the front fixed that. it brought the front tire out to at least where stock was. i might even go more in the future.

FYI: if you do these rims, do not take TSW's advice on the offset. you have to at least go 35mm on the front. My rears are 9.5 wide and offset 35mm. the front were offset to 40mm, with 8 inch wide rim, and the tire was too sunk in. so with the spacer i brought them out to essentially 32mm offset. i kinda like it this way, cause the more i lok at other cars with the rims, i wouldnt like that fat of a lip on the front rims, it hides the rivoty things too much and thats what is nice about the rims.

you actually can get those rims in 8" +20 front and 9.5" +20 rear - so they REALLY screwed up...

btw, those rims really aren't my style - as someone has said on another thread 'looks like a 16" wheel inside a 19" rim'

thanks for the comments guys. like i said i am very happy with the way they ended up. the only thing that i would maybe change would be to get a "fatter" lip on the rear. i thought i would be dissapointed with the way the fronts turned out but after the spacer, i like it. and i guess thats all that counts.
