Ok, I know what rims I want (Volk SF-Challenges w/gold centers), but I cant decide on the color of Z to get! I cant decide between Chrome Silver or Silverstone. I know these rims look really good on white and black too. Heres a few PhotoShops I did. The green one is just for fun, although it does look pretty good.





This is the closest to CS (or just regular silver; dont know the name of it) without getting to light (or white).





Pretty close to Silverstone.






And the green for fun. Reminds me of the Pheonix Yellow on the M3's.

Now thats better!! Thanks guys/gals. Im leaning towards the Silverstone as well. I had an idea though. After looking at the green, what about painting one Army Green/British Green with the SF-Challenges w/gold centers? Oh yea, I hear PhotoShop calling me!

 

I don't like the light army green. I think that a dark metallic Forest Green w/ a pearl black tint to it would look hot. ( If I painted my car a different color, I would go with this one! )

but if I were you, I would rather by a turbo kit instead of a paint job. Unless of course you can afford both....

 

Well, I already have a Viper, so no need for a turbo on the Z. Its just going to be an every day driver. By the way, I was thinking of a darker Army Green, nothing real light.

 

What year and model is it? post pics! My dad had a 96 Viper years ago. He let me drive it a few times, It was fun! But My supra was faster and more fun to drive.... I miss my supra!

Turbo's are so much fun. You can make it faster than a viper if you want!

I have an '02 Bumble Bee. Im thinking about dropping it off at RSI, DLM or Heffner to have it TT'd or Supercharged (just gotta make up my mind). Wow, a chic that knows how to drive a manual, had a Supra AND now drives a Z? NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!! And not to mention, has NICE taste in cars (Carrera GT). I take it your father doesnt own the Viper anymore? Why did he sell? By the way, I looked at the pics of your Z, VERY sweet Z you have!

 

well, he ended up getting a 55 chevy and having an engine built for it. It was PIMP. It was an all chromed out 427! It was repainted Cherry Apple red. He had EVERYTHING redone, it was LOUD too. just sweet. He got rid of it(Viper), i don't know why, just didn't drive it that much yet, moved on to a new project lol. I also like crotchrockets. I had a 2003 Yamaha R6, but sold it since my coach said I couldn't ride it. He's the boss since he pays for my school.

My dad also had a stroke 3 years ago and sold everything. Because he lost the ability to move anything on his right side.

This Z means alot to me because we picked it out together. We also had started making a list of what to do to it. We waited 2 months for delivery, and then he suddenly passed 3 days before I recieved it. I wanted to drive him around since he couldn't drive anymore. When it happened, I almost stoped delivery of the car because I was confused, but then I realized that this was something that we always did together so I kept it. so now i feel like he is always in the passanger seat. It sux alot. I want to get a license plate that says DADYZGRL. since I feel like it's our car. So I want to make this car really bad *** like we always worked on with our other cars... Cars are my world, well anything fast.

 

Im sorry to hear about your fathers passing, but atleast hes in a better place. Sounds like he was a great guy! He knew how to pick cars, thats for sure. Thats cool that you decided to keep the car, Im sure he IS sitting with ya. You sound like one cool chic! Now you tell me that you had an R6! Wow, you cant be for real. (j/k) I think the plate idea is a good one.

yup a blue one to match my Z. I had it for sale on here about a month ago.... I didn't get a chance to take pics of it with my car! I am so mad about that. But Vic has an R6 (Mike Wazowski) we went ridin' one day... I will take a pic of my car and his bike! That will be sweet!.

Im probably going to go with Silverstone. Just gotta find a dealer that has a Track Edition in stock and Im good to go. Hopefully someone around here has one. I will most likely order the wheels on Monday.
