Did a search and didn't find an answer to this question. If I install wheels WITHOUT the TPM's, will the low pressure warning light come on?

Only if all four are gone. And, even that is not entirely true. I ran the whole day (with my track-only rims on) and never had my light or buzzer come on. The gauge just had the usual (--) dashes. Rather odd...
Anyway, just move the sensors over to your new rims. Easy fix...

From what I have heard, if you remove the TPS modules, you will not get a warning light or buzzer. The reason is that a signal must be sent from the modules to the receiving unit and if they are not there, you will get no "low tire pressure" signal sent.
I don't know what will happen if you keep the monitors stored in your garage close to the car when you start it up.......

Monitors have a battery switch that is activated when the wheels start rolling faster than about 25-30 mph. Normal TPMS system behavior is upon removal of TPSs from wheels, display just shows "-" dashes, and after 45 minutes or so of driving, the dash light comes on (which would ordinarily alert the driver that perhaps the onboard TPS has a low or failed integral TPS battery).

I have checked a lot of boards on this issue and the majority of the people agree with what ChinaClipper and others have stated.
I.E. No signals from the TPS wheel units will throw a low pressure light to tell you of a system malfunction after not seeing a signal for 45 minutes or so.
The head end of the TPS system is in the dash on the passenger side. Has anyone condidered simply unplugging the connector from the unit? Wouldn't this get rid of the annoying light.
On the other hand, is it possible that another system will also see this as a TPS failure and give a different sort of warning?
Just wondering.......
