VDC TCS ABS disable Light disable Engine tune
Hello, I have a 2004 and am going to disable the VDC, TCS, and ABS. I would like to prevent the lights from coming up on the dash, but don't know how I could do that. The pervious owner installed k&n typhoon, Berks test pipes, and intake spacer, but didn't flash the ecu, so I figured two birds one stone get a runner so I can flash my engine myself, disable the features and the lights, and the seatbelt light. Im also planning on buying a shift ****, wing, and halo head lights.

You want it to be permanently always off? Just remove the fuse then disableI the light from your cluster but I wouldn't suggest that for daily driving. Their is a diy for installing a button to actually disable those features when you want them disabled might want to check out the diy thread.

How would I disable the lights in the cluster? I have driven cars with no abs, and no traction control sinc before I had a drivers lisence, I know how to control a car in emergencies, and like the car to do what I tell it to when I tell it to. A human with skill controlling the breaks can stop faster than someone tromping on a abs system.

Haven't figured out how to keep the dash lights off. Mine are always on and BTW, ABS light is bad, you really need a proportioning valve to do it, has a lot of rear bias when ABS is off.
What is with the seatbelt light? Are you such a DK that you feel no need to wear a seatbelt?
