Check engine light from head lights?

Check engine light from head lights?
Has anyone seen a check engine light come on after installing head lights?
I just finished the last repair on my salvaged Z... Installed and connected the new head lights, and refilled and installed the power steering lines and reconnected the rad fans and connections..
But now I have a check engine light which I didn't have before. The car did sit for 4 weeks unstarted and unplugged. But what and why would I get a check engine light after installing head lights?
Anyone seen or heard of this before? I gave it another shake down street run and it runs fine. Idk if it's just a thrown code but I wanna look into it.
I'm hoping to finish to hit SoCal nissfest

No one's gonna really be able to say anything worthwhile without any codes to go off of.. that being said the headlights triggering a CEL is something I have never heard of before. GL and hope u make it to nissfest

QuintonC is correct: pull the codes first to determine what is causing the CEL. Also, it's possible for a code to come from three areas: ECM, ABS and BCM. Depending on how severe the code is prioritized, a CEL could come from the body control module (BCM), but restoring a trashed Z is not an easy job.

Higher chance it's from power steering

I did the happy pedal morse code dance and it gave me a 1065 code.
Google-foo tells me it's ECM power supply circuit.
What ever the f that is..
And dboy wtf is that picture even of lol
When I get home I'll recheck the connectors. But each plug I made sure to wait for the click. But maybe it's reading when I tested the ballast boxes and wires before installing them in the lights to make sure they even worked before I wasted time installing?

I read a little more on this code. It seems some people get it from leaving their battery unconnected over a long period of time.
I had mine disconnected for about a month or longer. I'm going to assume that's what tripped it. Ganna reset it and see if it comes back.
