Anyone else have the constant power supply for the head unit stop working after cleaning up the wires in the back? I couldn't figure it out, even put all the wires back in and still no power... I ended up just hooking it to my cigarette lighter as a temporary fix...

Took out those front speakers today also... 2.5 lbs of massive savings.

I really hate to ask this but... did you disconnect power while disconnecting the harness? If not you may have blown a fuse.

No I didnt, the fuse was good though, none of those wires had anything attached to them so I didnt think it would matter.

I think that was wiring for the navigation system also, the way it was setup in the car you would think they wouldn't bother unless the car was going to come with navigation and that crazy clip that kept it tightly attached under the dash was impressive...

The odd thing about the radio was the swiched power still works fine the red power, the constant 12 volt yellow has nothing... I ripped apart that harness so its only got the one wire hooked into it, I was going to ditch the stereo but after 1 day I realized I would probably never drive the car if I didnt have something for tunes.

As long as you only unplugged that harness and not cut into the main dash harness, you should be ok and coincidental. Seem to remember there was a ground spot near the pass kick panel, you might check that you rehooked the dash harness to it after pulling the nav harness. Its really all I can think of atm. If anything else comes to mind will def chime in.

Full exhaust. Single exit, so way lighter than stock. Removed spare tire.
I do although have 19" wheels, but theyre lightweight and actually 2 pounds lighter than OEM per wheel.
I have added a splitter and a bigger wing, but the splitter weighs a pound tops, and the wing is CF and no heavier than OEM fiberglass wing.

^love the shop

what battery did you go with?

if you keep the doors off you'll cut a ton of weight!
