Very cool! Great job setting this all up. Maybe I actually can participate over the summer given a 4 event minimum.

 

If we have 8 active people we'll do 3 awards and have pleanty of cash for a $15 per person lunch.

I'm also trying to find a place that will engrave cups like this http://www.beldecal.com/cm/mixing-glasses.htm but they all want a 12 order minimum plus shipping plus a setup charge. So I'm taking other suggestions on the participation awards (about $50-75 total).

so maybe i'm a noob, and flame on if you want, but can someone explain exactly what this entails? i mean is it just us going as a group to the autox and track events? I guess I just need some clarification... but wanna see waht I can do to support.

We usually go to another groups event - like the miatas or the BMW's....but this will be for us...bragging rights so to speak. For those that can make it - they get the points, then we tally all of them at the end of year.. please correct me if Im wrong gents...I kinda just skimmed over the doc.

 

i guess what i'm asking is that this will just be a friendlky competition between us as vq owners correct? so like if jake, beerviper, and I make it to an event,we will of course do what we normally do and pay for the event, but also this will be a side little competition going on between us participants? So we pay the 5$ extra or whatever it is, and then just kind of keep points against each other?

 

ezpotato, you are correct.....basically just some fun friendly competition between the Z/G guys that attend the AutoX's to spice up the day.
Bragging rights and as Gword stated in the OP...a final luncheon.

So just come on out and run....I just like to try and improve on my own personal times.

First event I can find for 2011 is in March thus far. A February one may pop up between now and then therefore final vote call will be Dec. 31 Midnight. I'll send a reminder before then. In the mean time I guess I'll need to become a premium member on the Z board too so I can send PM's to more than 1 person at a time.

Oh I vote for Gavin for prez and Chris for treasury (is that the right word?).

 

We'll decide the tresurer at the first event. If anyone's got an old lock box to donate to the cause that'd help.
