CO: Dyno Day? 25-Feb
Was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Dyno Day at Mac Autosport; http://www.macautosport.com/. They are located in Parker so I know that its close-by for the Denver guys & girls. I would like to keep it a Z event. For those that haven't been there, Bill & Nick are very friendly and very educated in the Z platform. They also have several products for the Z. The dyno is a DYNOJET 248/224 Inground All-Wheel Drive, Rolling Chassis Dynamometer. I think I need like 10-20 people to confirm the day for us. Don't quote me on the price but "should" be around $45 for 3-pulls w/ air-to-fuel ratio. This could be a very fun event with the hope of seeing some awesome numbers. For the new Z owners that haven't started modding yet I highly suggest this. Baseline numbers are a very good to know to see what gains you have achieved and where to go next. I'd like to see how many people are interested first and than I'll contact Mac to lock the date and confirm the cost.

Robert, you are the freakin' man for putting stuff together. I appreciate your tenacity with the Z crowd and trying to get everyone to have a good time together. I think I can swing this, but I don't know my schedule that far ahead, but count me in. I hope this comes together though for everyone. It would be cool to see some baseline dyno's. Any 06's in the area?

Hey... I like get togethers with people that enjoy the same things I do, cars. I try to at least do one thing a month. Also like to plan a large meet for all type of cars, not limited to Zs, for this summer. Anyhow, I think this could be an awesome day. I plan on bringing my lunch and maybe once everyone is done go to Dave & Busters (D&B) for dinner and play some games. Family & friends are more than welcome to come also.

That would be awesome! I'd love to see how the new rev-up, high rev, whatever the heck their called motors do. Should be a good time, and as far as ego boost, I think we'll all feel a little owned by the altitude. Hmmm... any FI Z's..?

They have dynoed FI Z and will show you the numbers. They can get Stillen products and some others for the Z. Also I don't think my baseline numbers read to high. Here is the link for them: https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-drivetrain/159807-went-to-the-dyno.html

Robert K- thanks for putting this together. I've had plans to work with Bill and the guys in tuning my GT3 350Z with SR20 power for some time now. I'm guessing that if plumbing the car and setting up my engine mgmt system go well, I'll be spending my $$$ before your dyno date.
My street Z was on a dyno back in '03 to gain baseline data. Haven't really done any engine mods on it since then, so I'm uncertain if I want to spend any $$ to check out if the Tilton clutch/flywheel changed the HP/TQ curves. Count me as a definite "maybe".

You might consider posting this meet on TwinTurbo.net to get more Z participation. Those Z32 guys go absolutely NUTS checking out their HP/TQ figures!

I posted under the tt.net event list
Sent an email to Roy Davis about mentioning it at the next ZCCC meet.
You might get a good response after the meet on Feb. 1st. I will try and make that meeting too.
I will ask a few other people as well...
^ felt compelled to use the icon since tt.net doesn't have them

ZCCC Meet on the First
The Zcar club of Colorado meets the first Wednsday of each month.
At Brooklyns Saloon and Steakhouse off Colfax downtown.
They get a good turnout every month, between 20 and 30 Z car owners the times I have gone. David M. is a member if I remember correctly. At least 5 or 6 Z33's and the same # Z32's plus a good number of other generations.
I don't believe you have to join your first time, just go and see if you like what they have to offer(events, track days, etc).

OK someone restrict the use of icons from me as I have no self controll

7:00pm
7:00pm People usually get there a little eary and talk cars in the parking lot, although it gets dark quick this time of year.
I am probably not the best member in the world I only make a couple of meets and a couple of events each year.
