So I'll take the silence as "yeah it's that bad".

Either way thanks for testing it.

Sorry guys... I went on Vacation, didn't mean to blow ya off...

well the Kinetix SSV is a great manifold but it lost approx 8-10 TQ from the Crawford...

The HP #'s were almost exactly the same with a slight edge to the SSV at the peaks.

Now my octane w/ the Crawford was around 98 and it was around 96 with the SSV which could play a bit of a part in the results....

I got it as close as I could but is really tough to get the test exact...

Triji, a couple days later when I talked to Rich who tuned your car, he said that he pulled 1-2 degrees of timing because you brought the car into him with 91 octane that 2nd time with the SSV and wanted to be tuned for that instead of 98 octane like previously with the crawford. 1-2 degrees of timing pulled would easily explain losing 8-10whp.

I went back after that with the higher octane cuz the results with the 91 were less than stellar so I am running about a 50 / 50 mix with 101 & 91... I am comparing that tune, not the 91 tune...

I have both maps in my computer and am running the SSV tuned 50 / 50 combo now. I'll run the 91 tune if I ever take her to Tucson or smewhere...

So, can you post up the dyno sheet for both? I am seriously interested in the outcome good or bad. FI data hasn't really been posted.

so you went back to a 101/91 octane mix and had Rich retune the car again back up to that high octane and you still lost 10whp compared to the crawford at a 101/91 octane mix?

what was the final whp you made on their dyno? you made 365whp before with high octane gas and the crawford
later you went in with the SSV and 91 octane and had it tuned for the 91 octane and said you lost about 10whp to make 355whp

what's your current hp with the SSV and high octane? is it still around 355whp? That doesn't make sense to me if Rich actually did increase the timing back up to make use of the higher octane gas

No Sentry.... Re-read my post above.... Whp was very close... I lost about 8-10 TQ with the SSV from the Crawford...

I'll see if I can find the Dyno sheet laying around.

It's been puzzling me. Was the 365hp tuned on 91, 93 or higher octane?

Was on about 95 Pharm...

I am still trying to find the SSV dyno to post up guys...

Was not overly impressed with it though as it lost a bit of TQ compared to the Crawford... When I find it I will post a side by side.
