Intense thanks ProEFI & PowerLab for New World Records
Hellos and Salutations,
We finally got our VeilSide Fortune Wide Body G35 Coupe out onto the track for some real world 1/4 mile testing. After months of r&d, tuning, etc, the results are (from what I have researched on the 1/4 mile thread on this board) a few new world records!
This car already has the world record for VQ35de stock crank, stock sleeves at 906whp, drifts on 22" wheels, wins car shows, and is still daily driven!
Timeslip 1
60 : 1.57
1/4: 11.38
MPH: 126.27
Timeslip 2
60: 1.72
1/4: 11.33
MPH:127.02
Timeslip 3
60: 1.57 (World Record VQ35de 6MT)
1/4: 11.00 (World Record VQ35de 6MT)
MPH: 129.20(World Record G35 Coupe)
So, the combination of a PowerLab production GT37R kit, ProEFI production 48 Box, stock sleeves, stock crank, stock headgaskets, ET Streets (DOT approved and Supra fitment wheels) on it's 3rd pass ever, netted multiple world records. This also makes the G the worlds quickest and fastest G35 in the world!
I've referenced this thread to verify the world records, and have PM'd Aceman this thread so as to add the car to the list:

Congrats guys, great to see you taking the car to the track. Videos? Time to put the bigger turbo back on it and have a stab at single digits - it's not out of reach.
This makes me want to turn up the wick on my turbonetics car and knock out some world records

Video is at the bottom of the first post. Regarding a bigger turbo, we wanted to set the record on a production kit, not a 1-off. There's plenty of power on tap to put the car deep into the 10s w/ this turbo, as well as a bigger tire out back -- and that's all before we really go big! The car actually spun completely through 1st, and part of 2nd (and it still pulled a 1.57 60ft!). These runs were just testing actually, so we anticipate bigger and better numbers to follow shortly. Thanks again.
