Some Background:
Approx 140K on stock suspension
245/40/18 - soon to mount same size hankooks on front
275/40/18 - Hankook evo v12 - already mounted
Motegi Touge Rims
-Original struts/shocks and springs on the car, not lowered.
-I just installed new hotchkis swaybars front and rear with powergrid endlinks,
-Also I have 25mm spacers on front and rear of the car to clear the akebonos recently installed on the car.

My main question is, would purchasing and installing: tokico d-spec struts/shocks, and setting them to the firmest setting prevent the car from diving down and grinding the body against the tire? Pictures included for a visual of the clearance.

Tire sizes are OK, suspension is OK. So, by process of elimination we're left with wheel offset (the total amount, created by the wheels themselves and the spacers). Changing out the shocks isn't going to fix that issue.

Changing the color can't hurt. I think it'll help with the rubbing.

Ohh damn still rocking the old school TSZ sticker. TSZ is pretty much nonexistent these days aren't they?

You need to roll your rear fenders. Even with a stiffer suspension setup you're still going to hit bumps that compress the suspension enough to make the tires rub. If they still rub with rolled fenders you'll need to change the wheels and/or tires or increase negative camber.

It's not only the wheel offset, but the 25mm spacer the OP has to use to clear his BBK. I agree with everybody else, there is no suspension mod that will keep your tires from rubbing with the offset/spacer combo the OP is running.

And just to clarify, I own a Redline Z and LOVE the color. Having said that, there's way too much red on the OP's Z.

Why are you running such a large spacer?, get properly fitting wheels that can clear without spacers and your problem will go away
