Why not just find the closest track, line up, race, test, tune, repeat.

So your buddy wants to run heads-up all-motor V8 against all-motor V6? No one has ever accused him of having big ***** have they?

mach 1, not sure if even a modified Z can hit the speed of sound, and dont let XKR tell you otherwise.

Not that it makes a big difference, but it looks like he just wants a comparison...and for my money, a V8 and a V6 that are THIS close in specs, shows a fair bit of advantage to the Z. Not to mention he has a few mods. But I STILL agree with everyone that says go to a track and get your proof.

Is it this Mustang? You will have to do some double-clutch-drift-speed shifting.
