The members of this website frown upon bench racing.

Why not just find the closest track, line up, race, test, tune, repeat.

So your buddy wants to run heads-up all-motor V8 against all-motor V6? No one has ever accused him of having big ***** have they?

mach 1, not sure if even a modified Z can hit the speed of sound, and dont let XKR tell you otherwise.

2004 Mach 1
305 Horsepower
320 Pound-feet of torque
Curb Weight: 3380 lbs

2007 HR 350Z
306 Horsepower
268 Pound-feet of torque
Curb Weight: 3339 lbs

Not that it makes a big difference, but it looks like he just wants a comparison...and for my money, a V8 and a V6 that are THIS close in specs, shows a fair bit of advantage to the Z. Not to mention he has a few mods. But I STILL agree with everyone that says go to a track and get your proof.

Cecil County Dragway, MD 09/2005

Is it this Mustang? You will have to do some double-clutch-drift-speed shifting.
