LOL... sorry, I guess i sized them on my work monitor, a 22" widescreen..lol. They fit quite well on it. :-P. I traded it in because I wanted something a bit more higher quality.. I just didn't like how cheapy the car felt... But it is what it is...

2003.5. I had like the 3rd Z in Los Angeles because I pre-ordered it the day I saw it at the LA Auto show like 7 or so months before. I was so gung-ho and even paid the $2K markup at the time to get it. I thought it felt cheap because of the interior parts, and because the door felt quite hollow. I ended up having the entire interior ripped out and dynomatted when I redid my stereo system. But I decided in the end that I liked the German solidity a bit more... Still have much respect for the Z though, for being a good looking car with decent performance. It's a great handler, even though the newer cars like the EVO and STI have stole its thunder it's still one helluva good looking car. Especially when done up, I think it rivals the looks of my M3 Cab, which is over twice the price.

With all due respect, I think youre a little **** retentive.
And oh excuse us Biff, most of us Americans have a 19 inch monitor at best. Maybe you should stop shopping below you're limit and stop dissing my car, and move on to the Bimmer & Mercedes sites.

Actually w/ all the mods you can put into a Z you can easily approach purchasing an M3 coupe... The coupes start at 51K. The 350Z touring loaded is about 38K. I know more than a few on this board (including me) who have put over $13K in mods in the Z

That was my car.. I believe the Z is now a bit more expensive (increase since 2003 model year) so about 37 and a half.

I don't remember my M3 feeling any more solid (and it was a coupe). I think that the Japanese make generally more solid vehicles than do the German makes.
I can't imagine that a M3 Cab does not exhibit more body flex than the Z given it's inherent structural weakness (i.e., no roof) and weight.
My '05 is solid as a rock and looks every bit as sexy as my old E46 M3. In fact -- I get a ton more looks in my Z than I did in my M3. I attribute that mostly to the color -- Ultra Yellow versus Silver Gray. But also to the fact that most people (especially women) can't tell an M3 from a 325.

We were both amazed at how thin these cars are but he said that that has to do with the aerodynamics of the car. They charged me about $200 for the extreme with labor since that is about the price of one bulk kit. I believe he added a third layer in the back particularly where the stock glove box and sub box are. I now have so little wind noise. I picked up the 3m undercoat from Carquest for just a few dollars. I can't remember how much but it was not much at all. The tech put it up on the lift and sprayed particularly around the exhaust and up into the firewall area. He estimated about 30 lbs. in total was added. Weight is not a concern for me because I do not drag race the car. I love the ride and performance of the car. My service manager, who owns an '03 base model, could not believe the difference b/w mine and his afterward so he is planning to do the same to his over the holiday break. I highly recommend this for those who have a problem with the interior rattles. I just didn't like the way my stereo sounded but that has definitely been resolved as the car is 75 to 80 percent quieter. I hope this helps.

Same w/ me, had my entire car taken apart and dynomatted. It made a world of difference. The 350Z is a real lightweight car, it has thin sheetmetal and not very much insulation therefore making it feel very flimsy. However, dynomatted it helps a lot. w/ German cars they have lots of unnecessary weight through thicker metals and more insulation... However, as a result they feel more solid.
