Talking It's MY Turn!! Brickyard Z...

I was in a boring meeting at work today when I get the call... My Z is here!! So I get to the dealership right away and there it is, simply beautiful! The only thing I was a little bummed about is there was no sun. It's been sunny here for 6 months straight and of course it dumps rain all day today, I was hoping to get good sunlight so I could inspect the paint. Couldn't see any orange peel, but I think you really need sunlight to tell. ANYWAYS, got the paperwork done and started driving home. It was stop and go traffic the whole 30 miles home (good ol' bay area traffic) but I didn't mind, I was busy playing with everything inside. I couldn't hear any problems with the Bose, but my dealer said if it acts up bring it back and they'd take care of it right away. I was able to hit the accelerator a couple of times, and I could feel the car just begging to go.

Got it home safe in the garage and all's right in the world! Got my box of Zaino stuff, I'll post more pics after!

Sorry for the crappy resolution, the site doesn't let me post anything bigger than 640 x 480??? Seems like other posts have much bigger pics, don't know why I can't do it... anyone have any tips???

Congrats Spaceboy. Any friend of Brickyard is a friend of mine!

To post bigger higher res photos, you need to have them hosted somewhere and link to them in your post. If you don't have any access to a photo hosting service, Victor (VQracer) always seems to have spare space for anyone who needs it.

Another Brickyard. Congrats Spaceboy.. Hey, am I the only one who didn't get Zaino, where do I get it from. It seems like to me that it was in the trunk of everybody else's 350Z.. What am I doing wrong??

Thanks Bonz and Cazzz!

Cazzz, I called the Zaino guy (zainobros.com) and he gave me the name of a Zaino distributor in my area (private party). I met him in his garage and he hooked me up with all the good Zaino stuff.

Bonz, I've been eagerly awaiting my Z so I can follow in your "Art of Zaino" footsteps! Thanks for all the posts and good pics! I haven't yet succumbed to drinking the blue car wash... but give me a few days.... Will post my results... I'll get hold of VQracer to post the better pics.

Oh boy, Brickyard is nice, but it'll be tough to see in outer space. I just got mine yesterday, but SS and no pictures. My sister said it reminded her of a spaceship, which reminded me of your avatar!

My impressions in the last 24 hours:

Car corners like a dream... I can't stand keeping it under 4K RPM, 'cause I can feel the car beggin to go, but I'll be loyal to the break-in rules. Definitely have the BOSE problem. When the radio is on, the subwoofer is all over the place. I'll be calling the dealer to get the amp replacement.

I've also heard on this site that you can feel the windshield wipers thru the clutch- I noticed the same thing. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely a bit weird.

Love the reaction I get from people.

Nice wheels! 20" ? The only thing I don't like about the 350Z is the big wheel wells, even 18" look small, but that is just a great excuse to get some nice big wheels very nice Cazzz Z

Very nice too spaceboy! I seen a Brickyard in the flesh, they are one of the nicest colours IMO.

I thought the 17"s looked big enough. I'm happy anyway. I'd so much rather have 7-spoke wheels off the G35C sport. If anyone ever has some they want to unload, remember me please!
