Default keep accidently turning lights off when turning right

I've done this about five times now......because of the direction that the end of the control arm rotates..... I end up turning the lights off when I turn the signal on for a right hand turn.......pretty scary at night.....NE1 done this?

I haven't actually done that, but I've hit the switch weird when turning and thought I turned off the lights. What I do alot though is turn on the windshield wipers when turning the wheel sometimes. Very embarrassing when it's sunny out!

I've done this a couple of times. When you're coming up on somebody really fast, signal to pass on the right because they're camping in the LEFT LANE like an ******* and you turn your lights out, effectively disappearing, it REALLY freaks them out.

I did the same thing last night...my biggest problem with the car are the lights (accidentally hitting them, and not having an 'auto' function)...

tough life if this is my biggest complaint!

So I guess this is only issue with the Dallas cars....guess I'll have to move if I want to drive at night without running off the road.

auto feature would be great. I'm actually thinking about an after market alarm with that capability....kill two birds with one stone or something..

My problem was hitting the highbeams when I turn on my lights. Now I'm used to it though.

I did that on a road trip a month ago as I was going 90mph around midnight. That woke me up! I have become used to the feel of both the light toggle on the left and wipers on the right. Now I have to say that the Z has a very well layed out cockpit. I don't have to look down ever. I just keep that big ole tach in my peripheral vision!

Use the sides of your fingers.. not your finger tips (or bottom of your finger) and its not a problem.

Personally I rarely take my hand off the wheel to signal.. so I've never had an issue. I just rotate my wrist and use my index finger.

Ive only done that once, but I understand that its a problem.

my personal problem is also not with the auto up windows, I find them to be VERY clearly defined on what is auto and what isnt... no idea how much clearer it could be.

for me. when I have the wipers on intermittent, and I go to turn them off, it always goes too far and does the single wipe. quite annoying, but it could be worse.

I've killed my lights about 5 times now, and I've got 1010 miles on mine. (Almost done with the break-in!) I guess I just have to train myself not to casually flick the signal.

I've also done that twice, but I think I've trained myself to use the signal differently now. I think it's a bad design: the rotary headlight switch has far too little resistance. Just another tiny little thing for Nissan to improve for the '04s. (But I wouldn't trade getting in on the first-year pre-order excitement for anything, little imperfections or no.)

I've done it a few times. It really freaked me out the first time.

Two wrongs don't make a right.
But Three lefts do.
