Yeah, I heard about this one. I think it's called the "Pikes Peak 4WD 350Z". I think they are using the same AWD design as their GT-R's. I say why not...they already did an AWD G35. Hmm? Wonder if they'll ever sell an AWD version of the Z on the market. That'll be sweet.

I think that was the car with the RB26DETT and AWD. I remember someone posting pics long ago, there were two cars, they used it for Pikes Peak I think?

Yes, these are the pikes peak cars. The other one is blue with white wheels if I remember correctly. I've got a pic of it in action somewhere on my PC.

I don't think people would change their mind if the Z got AWD. AWD isn't really the selling points of the GTR...it's power, handling (kind of relates to AWD), and quality is.

Imagine how many people would ***** about the weight of the Z after converting it to AWD though...

AWD is all hype in my opinion.

Yes, it gives a nice launching advantage but the minuses of such a system, even an advanced one like ATESSA, outweigh the advantages. This is just my opinion though.
I love the feeling of RWD.
