Default AT only available on Touring???

Is this true? Does every other Z model only come in MT? I just want a base Z, but I want an AT. Argh!

You can get an Enthusiast in AT too.

But... why?

I got an 03 touring AT silverstone with burnt orange leather interior for 19,900. Looked for 7 months, the guy had an ad in the paper for 4 months, no sales, so he lowered the price 5 grand

Keep looking, you`ll find a miracle

Go to the Nissan Web site and you can customize your own Z. There you can see what is available for each specific model and the options available to boot

In Canada....

Performance = 6 Spd
Touring = 5AT
35th Anniversary = 5AT or 6 Spd

Base - MT
Enthusiast - MT/AT
Performance - MT Only
Touring - MT/AT
Track - MT Only
35th - MT/AT*

* - If you get the AT 35th, you get the standard 287hp/274tq engine and not the new 300hp/260tq engine.

I made the comment, but was talking about the 03 model year and not anything newer. For some reason I was thinking that the touring was the only model that the 5AT was available on in the U.S. that first year, but you could get the 5AT on other models in Canada.
