aww **** then ... everything should be finalized this wed. what should I say to get a lower price? i plan on shopping around tomorrow (tuesday) and ask dealers to beat my offer and then use that against the dealer im working with ... good idea?
You should be able to get one for around $25K if they give you a good deal now.
Nothing wrong with the Base. I got mine with some of the options that you get with the Enthusiast, including a rear spoiler and the aluminum kick plates. I just wish it came with HID. $300 will fix that though.
No, they don't have a LSD, but I don't seem to have any problems with that, even in the curves.

i'm probaly not the best person to ask for advice about this but i say just tell them the price you want (something reasonable.) if they accept your offer or come close, cool, if not just walk.
i got my 05 base for less than that... i knew the owners of the dealership - but its not like they were selling me a car that weren't giong to make money off of.
the best way to get what you want at the dealer is work down a price, and then say you need to think about it and compare, and get ready to walk out, make them believe you are leaving the lot, they believe that if you leave the lot and they dont make the sell right then - they'll never you see you again, thats how it works and how they think... once they believe you're getting up and walking out - their low offers will magically appear - might not be as low as you like, but lower than what they were just offering you... good luck.

When I was at the dealer yesterday they were offering an amazing rebate on 2004 leftovers. They had one 2004 left, a PPW performance model, the sticker was 30,500 with 200 miles on it. They were offering the following options:
a) $1,000 rebate, 4.0% financing, and an extended warranty
or
b) $2,000 rebate, and 3.0% financing
That was based on a 5 year payment plan, and the salesman said as far as he knows it is a Nissan deal and offered on all 2004's that are left right now. So it should help give an extra discount on the price of these.
Anyone about to purchase should check into it!
