I see 3 colors. But it seems to be more apparent under certain lighting conditions and angles.
and later after that same side repaired after being dented.

Ok, I'm back....
atcga,
Your DB is fine? Actually your pic is actually the best illustration of the color mismatch I've seen.
Yes, you guys are right, mine is a good example of the mismatch. But, look at where the light is focused, on the bumper. It's impossible to see with the naked eye. I've taken dozens of pics and based on where you focus the light source, the color shows up different. Standing back and looking at the car in the sunlight...the car looks great. It's hard to describe here, but my car looks fine. The bumper material refracts the light differently than the other parts of the car. All in all, my DB looks great.
Look at this pic in lower light.

I hate to sound like a pain in the a$$ but... how is it only visible in photos? I mean it isn't like we are taking an MRI or anything-- the camera only sees light which is the same things your eyes see.
I was told by the dealer that the car was going to be reinspected within 72 hours. So we will see what happens.
I see what you all are saying and I can understand why Nissan is addressing the issue. But much like all this orange peel talk, I don't think it is really all that big of a deal. If the inspector deems my Z to have issues with the paint, then I may just be getting a Brickyard instead. Either way I don't think I can lose.
