I had never installed front pads in my life. I do a lot of work myself on cars but thought I wanted the pros to deal with my brakes for safety reasons. After a bunch of bad brake jobs including brakes going out about 3-4 times. I have decided to take my life in my own hands. Changing out pads was easy and saved me like $80 to boot.
Took about an hour tops. I took my time and had everything ready before hand.
If you want here is the procedure:

I installed my own pad at 5K and didn't turn the rotors.
I made sure to liberally use High Temp Copper Slide grease from Permatex. I made sure not get any of the grease on the pad face.
I cleaned the brake caliper and parts really good with Brake Kleen after the old pads were out and before greasing and intalling the new pads.
I seated the pads and drove as the instructions stated.
I haven't had any brake squeal and my brakes dust about the same amount as the rears now. Really low. I get about as much dust on the cars painted surfaces driving as I do on the brakes. I love these EBC Greens.
