TCS and SLIP light constantly on??
This has happened twice, and just after letting it sit for awhile, it finally started up normally. Then today, go to a restaurant, come out, try to start my car it does it again. Basically whats going on is, i start the car, the TCS and SLIP lights are constantly on, and i cant drive, i can only coast, can not give it any gas.
Well after messing around with it, i just kept turning the key half way, pressing the TCS button, turning off the car again, then start it up, and after about 20tries of that it finally works...
Anyone know why exactly it is doing this? I will be takeing my car to Nissan on Monday. This is one of the few times iam glad i dont have many mods for them to ***** about.

Oh and then on my way home no more then 1min after i got it started finally. Iam driving home in 3rd, then i noticed it start to stutter, i go "WTF OH HELL NO! BETTER NOT BE DOING THIS AGAIN!" Then pull over to the right lane, and what do you know, my TCS off and SLIP light come on again... thank god i was pulling over to the right once i felt something, would of been stranded in the left lane haha. Oh and my SES light is always on as well cause i have Test pipes, so i cant say if my SES light is coming on because of this problem.

most likely your ecu is throwing a code and you are in limp mode
take it to auto zone to read the codes or just reset and then take it to the dealer
350Z ECU Resetting Procedures
Please read all instructions and be familiar with them before any attempts.
A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful.
ECU Resetting Procedures
Timing is extremely critical. If it is NOT DONE within the specify time, the ECU will not reset and the Check Engine Light (CEL) will continue to remain ON.
A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful.
Operations Procedures
1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking)
5. Wait about 10 second.
6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).
8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone.
If the CEL light continues to remain ON, repeat the above steps. Timing is EXTREMELY critical to resetting the ECU.

I can wait till monday. I will just have the dealerships fix it for sure.
I was just curious mainly if anyone had any special lil tricks like the turn key half way and press the TCS button, then turn off then on again? Or something to that sort.
