Had this info a while ago, sorry for the delay in posting it, but '06 threads are everywhere now so you might have it. The fronts are $1350 CND each! The rears are $230 CND each. If you want them, let me know. I'm sure I can get my parts manager to discount them. He's saying that the bulbs will be hotter, and that will feed back into the wiring loom. So if modding/splicing is required, it will have to be CAREFULLY done.

Komodo.

PS. The GT wheels are around $1287 CND each! Front or rear.

All Canadian cars with metalic paint now have a $125 premium. They call it Plum Brandy here, I wonder if it's different. Paint code is L40.

So now the base wheel is identical to last years 35th Ann. wheel?

Was speaking to a 35th owner last weekend and I asked him if it bothered him that they are using his wheel as the base and he was sure that they were different...is he dreaming or what?

Good question. Unless they stuck some incandesent bulb in there somewhere, the DRLs would basically be your low beams on all the time. I don't think HID bulbs function at lower watts (ie they are either on or off).

The wheels look the same in the pics as my 35th. I don't know size-wise, but I'm guessing its the same. I find it somewhat annoying, however I don't feel I overpaid for my car at the $35,500 I bought it for. It's too bad the so-called "Anniversary" model sized up to badges and floormats however. Oh well. Although, I've been enjoying my rev-up motor for the past several months.

I'm a little ticked that they chose to use the anniversary rims on the base models as well, because from the outside, it's really the only thing you can use to differentiate the Z trim levels, other than the brembo's. As for the rest of the car, I do wish I had the mp3 cd player, and LED taillights are kind of slick/new-age, but like Camel said, I can't complain either, especially for only having paid $33,800 before tax. I got the 2 tone black/tan seats, which only the anniverary has, and also, that beautiful high-revving motor. I need to do some searches though, what are the actual differences in parts between the base model Z engines and the high-rev versions?

Man, you got yours for less than mine invoiced, nice! I paid $1000 over invoice which also included the Nismo intake the dealer had already installed, so I think I did allright considering the parts and labor on that is worth what, a couple hundred bucks? At the time and for some months after, it was the only 35th in the state. I still have never seen another one on the road, but I've "heard" there is a Yellow one floating around somewhere.

The differences between the rev-up engines and the 287hp version are significant. Revised/beefier internals, higher redline, etc. AFAIK, the '06 Base gets the same engine. I haven't heard of differences between that one and the '05 rev-up, but it's possible I suppose.

Camel-
Yeah I managed to find a forum floating around that describes the different parts pretty heavily. My main curiosity was about the plenum, which I guess the hgih rev engines have a new lower plenum, but I believe we can still benefit from a different upper.

I did do pretty well on getting a good price for my car, considering the MSRP was $37,740, and I only had to pay tax (3.2% in VA) then title/tags (~$100). Super black, 2 tone seats, side air bags, then all those mats and stuff they toss in to raise the price another grand. I even got the destination fee and their processing fees dropped off the price, so I did good for my first new car I think.
