Not neccessarily, since this is not a new generation Z. This is basically the 2005 Z with some bolt on changes. It wouldn't take long to change a 2005 to a 2006 in their plant.

OK, but the 300HP is a pretty big bolt on...granted it's the same motor as the 2005 Anniversary. So atleast it's not a whole new part.

Like you said though, they don't have to re-engineer anything ... they just produce them all as if they were the 35th Anniversary Cars (from an engine standpoint). The other items are assembly-line changes as well.

IOW, they really don't need to retool very much to get this out the door.

can you compare the silver alloy vs chrome silver? im guessing its probably paler like liquid aluminum was
Yeah, I've seen that black on the STI. Don't worry, this looks nothing like it. The gold effect is like a subtle mist, the red is much more noticeable. The silver colour can be seen on the Sentra. It reminds me of those old metalic markers from back in the day. It's bright and reflective, but not as shimmery as Liquid Aluminum was.

Update/correction: GT Coupe will have the REO50A's, and regular cars get RE040 or Pilot Sport. Damn!

I was hoping that the GT would get the Pilot Sports. I'll be trading in my Roadster on one of these, most likely.

How do you think they're going to handle the day time running lights in canada? It would be nice if they had led lights for drl.

I'm sure the dtr lights will be xenon, the way the european cars with the bi-xenon's are. For you and for us. It should look much nicer, I'm thinking of air brushing the inside of the housing black, so that it looks less busy. That way, all that would stand out is the lens.

hey blue komodo- is that silver alloy or silverstone? i got a question i think maybe no one has noticed yet.

ok if chrome silver is discontinued for 06, then what color was that roadster SHO-TIME got a pic of? silver alloy?
Hey mc350z,

Not sure about the Nismo Z for you guy's. It's not an option here. It's Silverstone dude. Yeah, I guess that was Silver Alloy, we call it Airstream here. I don't really see the diff between Plum Brandy/Interlogos Fire, and Brickyard.

Most people don't like skinny factory wheels anyway, that's why God created AXIS wheels:-D

Yeah, I hear 'ya man. I wanted to throw TE37's on mine, 9.5F and 10.5R. These factory rims are only half an inch more norrow. If they looked better, say more like the Track wheel. I could have saved some money. Oh well.
