Woah! Freight is $1294? That's amazing ... I think it's $580 here. No air tax, and no gas tax. It amazes me that these cars are still selling for so close to list price in some markets. Wow.

The low beam and high beams are both on at the same time but the high beams have a shield that limits how much light leaves the projector, so that means you're getting about 50% more lighting than regular xenons. At least that's what i read online about mercedes bi xenons.

I tried guys, but the pearl colour shift is not showing up on the small paper paint sample. The paint code is for the Z only, so I can't reference it against anything else.

Nothing yet, but harrasing my parts manager has become a daily ritual.

Does TPS have to be calibrated in the new '06 units like it does in the '05 units? Also, do the 06 units have two 12V plugs? I think the '05s only have 1.

Dont all projectors have reflectors. The current Z has a projector lens that optically provides the same effect as any projector.

Are you talking about coupes or roadsters? My 04 already had the 2 plugs... unless they brought it down to 1 for 05 again?

Thanks for the info on the 12V guys; I didn't realize the plugs were split. I tried to edit my post but can't quite figure out how. It looks like the 06s have two plugs too.

In any case, I looked through the documentation (odd, I never do that) and I noticed some references to not running the 12V plugs when the A/C is on ... did I misread something or does it actually mean that?

Okay ... since you told me to ... I went ahead and got it ... not sure if I'm going to keep it, but I went ahead and got it ... so it's all your fault Blue.

No. The bulb used in an actual projector housing is different from the bulbs used for reflector applications. In addition to this, actual projector lenses are much larger than the sudo projector lens on the current Z. What is current is an imatation of a projector set up, but not the real deal. The much larger bi-xenon housing will make far more effecient use of actual light. They will have a longer, wider, brighter and more true beam pattern, with a cleaner cut-off.

WAIT, 18's on front and 19's in the rear.... Does anyone else think this will look like a hotrod? Please say it aint so......

As for the stearing, that's a plus, I think the z's now are tough to stear, could be smoother and easier...

Hey, congrats man. With those numbers, it only made sense. Anything that you really like about the '06 should be an easy retro-fit. The cost may be another matter, but there's always the after market. I always say, "Don't talk about it, be about it". So props on getting it done.

Blue.

I don't think it'd look really bad either. Right now the rear tire's thicker, so with the stagger they'd probably just be more similar size. Think of other "non-hotrod" cars with the staggered size... NSX had them... and to a more extreme, Carrera GT has them too.
