Going for $26,800 before taxes, license, and title. They must be getting ready for the '06.

Haha, misleading ad. Read closer; the ad is for the '05 Z, STARTING at $26,800. THEN says 35th ann. model shown.

Man had me going for a minute. Advertised price is for the base without options.

Think it was a scare to all Z owners. I thought, if the 35ths are that cheap, my base model must be worth only 10 grand now!

If I waited 8 months I could have gotten an 05 for the same price I paid for my 04... but then I what would I have been driving the last 8 months?

If I actually have to explain this, I don't know if you'll be able to get it. But what the hell.

My point is this; The special 35th only alloy wheels, and 35th only revup motor will be the standard wheel and engine on the base car, at the base car price in '06. Everyone who paid the extra 4 grand, may aswell have thrown it out the window. Along with the depreciation the base '06 car will bring to their special edition '05 for 4 grand less.

That's my point.
