Go online and look up the invoice for it. I would offer a few hundred over invoice. Just tell them (if it's new) that you want them to make a fair profit so you are willing to do $250 or whatever you want to do. Usually if they are making something and you are easy to deal with they'll do it. If not, go somewhere else. Good luck!

If $32,940 is MSRP then you are over paying. Street deals on here over the past few months have been $1000-$2000 below sticker (MSRP).

I didnt buy it yet. I still have to see the car and talk to the dealer in person because I just negotiated by email. I'll se if I can lower the price by at least $2K.

Forget haggling... just sign up at costco auto, enter the details of the car you want, and a dealer will get it for you at a very fair price. I got $500 over invoice. Never bargain down from MSRP, always bargain from invoice.

Hmm...I got scared since that quote seemed kind of low considering where I started bargaining from, so I looked up the invoice on edmunds. My car:

05 Touring (silverstone)
6mt
splashguards
floormats
kickplate
trunkmat
cargo convenience net
Invoice = $31,746

I paid 31,250 and I had them throw in the seatback organizer as well. I'd start at 29,500 and work your way up from there. I'd stop at 31,500 and walk out and tell them to call you if they can come up with a better price. I say 31,500 because when I asked the dealer their best price, that's what they gave me. My walk out the door number was 32k and when they came in with something lower I couldn't just take it...I HAD to knock off a few hundred more and get them to throw something else in there.

I got my black/black at invoice. Yellow around here is a better deal because it doesn't sell as well, so i definitely think you can do better than that
