STUPID question, but can you open hatch W/O remote?
OK, so I got my Z about a month ago...I cannot find where(if there even is a way) the button is inside the car to pop the hatch? Do you always have to turn the car off, take the keys out, and use the remote to pop the trunk? If so, thats really stupid but I"ve never heard or saw a car like this so I know there has to be another way. Sorry for sucha noob question but it is really frustrating.
yup... one time i used the keyless to open the hatch without unlocking the doors... set my keys in the hatch, put my stuff in, then closed the hatch... ARGH.. keys were locked in the car
the sad part is that we were rushing to get my then gf to the airport.. i never heard the end of it and she ended up not having her lugguage for her trip
what is the deal with that trunk release under the rear strut tower....soooo useless, i can't even reach that thing from the driver seat without pulling a muscle

in case you get locked in on the other side of the strut and cant crawl between the brace. sorta like getting locked inside your trunk.
LOL, that is the only information that my salesman knew. He was sure to tell me in way too much detail. He couldn't open the hood or tell me what size the engine was but he's an expert at that back hatch.
(trying to think if there are any other stupid questions I need someone else to ask.)
There are all sorts of crazy things about our cars that you wont know about if you didnt read the manual. My favorite is when I found out you can roll the windows down by holding unlock on your key fob when walking towards your car. There is also I capachino machine behind the driver seat, you have to removed the plastic cover first to see it. Good luck. BEN
