Default The Incredible Shrinking 350Z!

just finished this project a couple days ago.... an HPI Racing Micro RS4 with 350Z body custom painted to match Daytona Blue.

These suckers are FAST! I hopped up the motor and added 4 battery cells to juice up the voltage. Driving next to a full size car yesterday as the car's speedo was indicating 35mph.

They are all wheel drive with tunable suspension and adjustable gear ratios. With the right motor and gearing they can reach speeds in excess of 50mph.

These aren't your typical rc car either... they are small .... a pic next to my very small Samsung A500 mobile phone below.

I'm going to buy a set of 6 spoke aluminum wheels to match mine.

A bone stock one ready to run is $180 to get it as fast as mine you'll spend another $50.

Tell santa you want one!

www.hpiracing.com has more details

What kind of paint did you use and where did you find it?

yeah... I have a pro-line 190mm for my RS4 Pro. pretty damn scale looking too!

I'm not sure what paints were used on my body... I had a guy custom mix it... the color os EXACT. when I hold it up to the real thing the match is amazing... even the metallic matches.

VQ... no bridgestones... slicks running soft compound now cause with medium or hard the thing drifts like crazy.

it's fun to get it into a 4 wheel drift on a large hardwood floor

Hey, with the adjustable ride height, can you run that successfully on normal carpet?? I'd love to have one, but I have no good place that isn't carpeted to run it!

Thanks,

Ryan

I need to get a 350Z body for my RC-10. Don't know if it's 190 or 200 though. Anyone got an idea for a 1991 RC-10?

Hey I have one to, but with the GT-R body.

I don't know much about RC cars, so I never knew
what I needed to buy.

What do I need to buy to get my car running?

I don't need pro stuff... just something of a
cheap thrill.

THanks!

you'll need a speed control (ESC), 2 channel radio set, battery packs and charger.

All that would run you about $120 for sport stuff... upwards of $500 for pro quality.

go to www.towerhobbies.com they have everything you need at fairly good prices.

I have an old 90-91 RC-10 also. Which body would fit. Needs new wheels and tires also, it's currently setup for dirt racing.

RC car? Check out a friends 1/5 scale McLaren GTR.

Ok so it's not a Z, but cool

5hp engine, 4 wheel disc brakes, Runs 40 minutes on a tank of fuel.

Very expensive

I gotta get me one of those 350Z bodies. But then again I wouldn't want to run it cause it'd get amazingly dirty.

Body swap time!?

I am not sure who imports them to the US anymore, this was a few years ago. They are very popular in Europe.

I know he had someting like $ 3500 in that car..it was good for about 60 MPH in a parking lot.

Here are some links to the biggest manufacturers (Germany)
