Default HUD on a 350 - possible?

Is it possible to install a HUD into a 350?
What about keyless, push button start?

Haven't heard of the first in a Z, but the second and third, yes, both are simple. You will find plenty of info on Google on those.

There is a company that makes aftermarket universal heads up display units that you mount to your dashboard pointing at your windshield. I was looking into it for one of my previous cars. I don't think it was outrageously expensive, but it wasn't cheap either. Try a google search and maybe you'll find it.

Edit:

Here ya go:

IMO an aftermarket HUD looks odd just sitting on the dash with its wiring. I installed an HUD in my Maxima but it was OEM as digital dash was an option for that model year. Had to take the entire dash off and cut a hole into in to install the unit on its own base. Wonder if the same could be done with an aftermarket one. Hmmmm.......

Great info and thanks.

I wouldn't want a HUD sitting on my dash. I would have to have it integrated or I wouldn't have it at all.

Now that's the spirit! Good luck and do post if you end up doing it. I would like to see how it turns out.

It's just deciding if I want to rip a hole into a brand new dash that's the tough part. ^^ I might see if I can find a HUD from a wrecked '05 C6 to use. Those are nice.

I doubt that will work. Each manufacturer's speed sensors are different. HUD taps into the SS behind the console to work.

Well poop on that then.

I guess a HUD probably wouldn't work for me as I would want it to (fully integrated, high quality fit and finish etc.). blargh!

Thanks for all the input!
