Default Dripping sound after driving

I just bought a new 05 roadster and have like 1100 miles on it. After driving when i stop there is this dripping sound as if something is falling on a metal pan. My AC was not on so i dont think it is water. Does anybady have any ideas or advice.

Where is it coming from? Inside your vents, engine, ect? Is it like a ticking sound. Thats normal break-in on a new car. Probably your cats!

I think its from the engine,or atleast in that region and its not trickling it sounds like one drop after another. Some times it feels like big drops. I am just worried aboiut my engine having a leak and loosing oil

The AC will drip water onto the ground. Could that be it?

Drive the car. Park it on clean concrete. After sitting, move the car and check the concrete. Is there any liquid on the ground? What is it?

Metal expands as it heats and the opposite when it cools off...hence the constant ticking sound. There is no way you can hear a "drip", "drip", "drip" if it were a liquid. Open up your hood and see if anything steams per "drip" or anything on the floor. I doubt it though. It's just your motor breaking in, however, this sound will exist on all cars and is ever so apparent after ending a drive on a cold winter day.

I can assure you its the P.O.S. cats. Every modern car I have ever had does that. Especially after being driven hard. My car doesn't do it as much now that I removed them.
