Hey guys about that noise when you release the clutch, i think i may have an answer and correct me if im wrong

when you release the clutch doesnt the driveshaft start spinning by itself???? would that little click be the driveshaft starting to spin

on the other hand when the car is crawling and i slam on the clutch/brake...i do get a clunking noise...which is not normal...got to take it in for that

i have 2200k on my black 06

good for you i will take a clutch that makes a little noise over a auto anyday. it must be so disappointing when people are like nice car and when they look and say "you got a auto Z?" but what ever make ya happy. Hope your problem gets fixed.

No clutch problems here 1100 miles now. Doesn't like going into second when it's still cold, but that's about it.

I have an 05 with 1100 miles, mine makes a noise when letting go off the clutch fast in 1st gear (try to launch faster than normal), if I let go slow (launch slow) then I don't hear it. It bothers me, almost makes me think that I drive a low quality car, or a f'd up tranny car.

I couldnt get into gear a few times either. i have that problem with my 240...thought all that would be gone with the new car. Im at 900 miles and I used to get that clutch noise more so when i was back at 200 miles.

Anyone who questions an auto in a sports car these days is a stupid ***. if this were the 90's, i would get a stick. i like manuals because of the freedom of revving. but autos have come a long way in performance. and i am happy i didnt pay alot of money for a crappy transmission. you must admit, nissan messed up badly with the stick. the manual should be just as reliable as the auto.

I own an 06 ent and have experienced the clunking, the clicking, and all that fun stuff. I haven't noticed the clunk recently (i'm up to 3k miles now) but maybe I'm just not listening for it anymore.

I've been having trouble shifting into 2nd when it's cold. going from 1 to 2, it doesn't want to go in smooth. sometimes it feels like a slight grind, sometimes it goes right in. last week and this morning I had a tough time getting into 1st from a complete stop. I had to release the clutch and try again a couple times before it reluctantly dropped in.

I'm going to schedule an appt with Nissan and drop off the car the night before. I'll probably be reporting back that they "could not reproduce the problem" next week.

I have these exact symptoms with my 06 GT with 2800 miles. When it's cold it doesn't want to go into 2nd smoothly and almost feels like a slight grind at times. Other times it goes in perfect. I have just got into the habbit of taking it into nuetral before second while it's cold. After a few minutes of driving it doesn't do it anymore. If you find out any info when you have it checked please pm me.

One of the lucky ones (knock on wood). I've just passed the 1300 mile mark and no problems to report.

my 06 has 4,000 miles and squeeks when you depress the clutch. My gears also whine pretty noticably. From 2nd gear on at half throttle, it whines pretty loud, loud enough to hear it over the engine/exhaust. Anyone else have that?
