People definately notice the car. I pulled into my parking lot at work the other day. There were some guys working on the road right next to the lot. They all stopped and watched me park my car as if in a trance.

 

OHH man I cant wait till I get mine!!! its only a matter of time, it was the same thing with what I did to my motorcycle...I dreamt about it for maybe a year and a half untill i finally got it...and now im doing the same thing to the 350Z (its been 5 months of dreaming!!)...hopefully i dont have to sacrifice the bike to be able to buy the Z...Im patiently waiting with my fingers crossed hahaha

All I saw through my windows are peoples jaw's dropping every second!!!!!

 

At Mickey Ds (McDonald's) today, I was going to the drive through for a McRib. Two teenagers, one black guy and a white girl were at the drive-thru. When I went out to hand out the money, I overheard that white girl say, "What kind of car is that?", the black guy responded by saying, "Its a Z!" I didn't say anything because they weren't talking to me, but to themselves and barely audible- though enough for me to hear. I was taken aback that the guy had car knowledge. As I was leaving the drive-thru window, I heard that black guy say, "I'll buy you that car and heard giggles..."

 

Funny story, I would have to agree, the Z is an eye catcher for many.

 

at least every other day someone makes a comment to me about how much they love the car, or how nice it is...people are just compelled to comment on it...and mine still looks stock. I stop for coffee like 5 times a day, and I don't smoke in the car so sometimes I'll stand outside it and smoke a cig, that's when I hear it most often.

 

People notice my Z every day, specially uo here in Indiana that they are rare....

 

Zzzzs are fairly common in my neck of the Cali woods but I still get a lot of looks, thumbs up & questions due to the Brick color.

About once a week or so I'm asked if it is a custom color.

Same here in Dallas, before we sold the Z it did not get nearly the attention it use to get. They are very common in the Dallas area as well.

I know when I got to drive my Dad's 3.5 altima 2002 polished pewter with side sills and spoiler. I had people comin up to me with compliments. Even people saying things like there's something different about ur altima compared to other altimas. I get compliments with the z also. Even jaw dropping stares. Runs in the Nissan family. You want a nice *** car? Nissan's the way to go.

 

I don't get too much attention back at home since there are a fair amount of Z's floating around...but down here where my parents live, it's a different story. Yesterday a guy in a 5 Series BMW was watching me rather than the road as he passed me at a stop light.

Two weekends ago, I was at a car show down in South Carolina and my DB got quite a bit of attention from the Exotic Car crowd. I must've been asked 20 times if the paint was custom. Of course, what got me the most was the Rolls Royce guys drooling over my car.

 

Where I live there's a decent amount of Z. I use to see more when I didnt have mine to what I see now days. But in cali is a different story.
I went to L.A. a couple months ago, and it was like everyone had a Z, even the ricers. A lot of G35 there too.

Where I live, they aren't common, but they aren't rare. I always try to get a good parking spot when I go to my favorite Sports Bar. One time I came out, and a family was getting out of an S Class checking it out. Made me all fuzzy inside.

You definetly get the looks at traffic lights, and the thumbs up and what have you.

All my guy friends like it, and my girl friends (just girls that are friends) love it!

I was backing out of a CVS pharmacy parking lot tonight and I noticed a middle-aged guy stop helping his wife open the side door of their mini-van and just gazed as I backed out along side of them. Of course, I decided to rev the tach a little bit as I coasted to a stop in neutral. He just stood there gazing. I gave him a nod and then punched it....man, did it feel good!

Hey, when a car company makes a nice, original and timeless design for a sports car, everybody looks...who wouldn't look at a car this sweet?!
