My 15 year old brother loves it when I pick him up from school. His friends crowd around it and they all want a ride. Luckily, it's a 2-seater.
I was getting an oil change and was looking around at the Z's on the lot for fun, a car salesman went up to me and started talking to me. I mentioned I already had a Z and he said "wow... I thought only guys drive Z's."

I've been reading about all the "Oh, $#!^" responses that observers/people give the Z waaaaay before I bought it, so when I finally got it, I was like, "Ok, man, I'm ready for the looks and ooo's and ahhh's!"
And in the end of it all... NOTHING. It's like no one gives a crap.
My impression after reading the posts on this thread is that most of the SoCal residents don't get as much as a wink (unless the Z is heavily modified), whereas elsewhere in the country, it's all about "2 thumbs up!" and "Hey, is that YOUR car?" and "Sexy!", etc, etc, etc.

The most unusual conversation I've had about my Z happened at a nursing home. When I came out from visiting my father I found an old gentlemen in his wheel chair driving 'round and 'round my car. He had been waiting in the parking lot for awhile I think, to see who the car belonged to. He wanted to know everything about the Z. Then he told me all about the Jags he owned in his younger days. I could tell he loved his cars. He thought the Z was "beautiful".

About a month after buying my Z (bought it in aug 05), an older gentleman literally stopped me in the parking lot of a gas station so he could see the interior and admire the car. He looked like about what I would be like if I were checking out someone's Ferrari.
It was cool...

eh... Z interior is cool but its not that quality lol
but i think if u drive it in hick states were there are no Zs then it would be a scene...
btw s2000 has exclusivity
also...
the Z looks like if it were to cost around 40000 $ on the outside...
but inside its like "Eh~"...
u know

true, but the interior passes off as different and kinda unique to the untrained eye who's all googly eyed from ithe 350z's exterior...
